Searching and finding with Yellopet
How to search with Yellopet You can enter as many search words as desired. Each individual search word must consist of at least three letters. Common words (stop words) such as "and", "HTTP ", "one", "www" etc. are ignored, since they rarely improve the search results and unnecessarily slow down the search. Tip: Yellopet consists of three different search machines - one for cats, one for dogs and one for horses. It makes no sense to search exclusively for the words "cat" or "cats" in a search machine specifically designed for cat websites. The search results of Yellopet are limited. If too many links are found for the search query then you should select more exact search words, thus limiting the search. Also try entering different variations of the search words. Yellopet searches pages based on search words exactly as entered. For example, if you do not obtain the desired results with the search words "cat hotel" try again with the words "cats hotel". Substitue symbols (wildcards for example) are not supported.
What about capitalization? Search querys are not case sensitive, all letters will be understood as lowercase.
Automatic "and" Linking If you enter more than one search word, the Yellopet search machine automatically sets an "and" between the entered words. You can thereby separate words by blanks, commas or "+" symbol. An "or" link is not supported in Yellopet.
Refining Search Results Only websites which contain "all" search words you entered are shown. You can further refine your search results by adding more words to the search terms you have already entered in the search field. You can also exclude words from the search results. Simply enter a minus sign (-) immediately before the word, which is not to be included in the found sites.
